After completing his studies in Physics at the University of Tübingen, Reinhold Braig was active as a freelance musician, keyboard player, band leader and composer in the field of jazz and experimental music with concerts across Europe. He studied film music and received advanced training at IRCAM (Paris), CNMAT (Berkeley) and STEIM (Amsterdam). His main interests include the integration of live electronic as a playable instrument in contemporary music, improvisation as well as a goal to make live concerts a unique experience.
He has been a sound director and music computer engineer at the SWR Experimentalstudio since 1998.
